A FABRICAÇÃO DA LITERATURA SURDA: DO TEATRO AO MEIO ACADÊMICO

Abstract

Theorizing the artistic production in Libras that is identified today as Deaf Literature is both an arduous and necessary task at the Brazilian university, which in less than 20 years has seen somewhat distant the staggering of the Libras area within the Letters courses. In this sense, we propose to describe the fabrication of Deaf Literature in the multiple context that takes us: from literary and performative experiences, born around the National Theater of the Deaf (NTD) to its potential for influence in the first literary meetings of the communities. Brazilian deaf women until we come to the structuring of the curriculum in the area of Deaf Literature at the undergraduate degree in Letters / Pounds at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).
