The bases of region of Montes Claros/MG: one condensed reading geologic and geomorphologic

Abstract

This article presents one condensed reading on the geologic and geomorphologic formations that constitute the bases of the Montes Claros region, MG. It is based on a conception of the Earth as a system dynamic or of systems of transformations in constant interaction, that is, the system of the tectônics plates, that involves controlled forces for the internal heat of the planet and the climatic system, controlled for the heat of the sun, acting on the terrestrial surface throughout the geologic time. From there one perceives that the geologic and geomorphologics features of the region are organized as a standard that reflects the tectônic evolution of long time of the continents and for orogênese Brasiliana, tectônic event that occurred in the end of the Neoproterozóico and beginning of the Paleozóica, has about 750-450 millions years.
