Technological and ambient aspects: the challenge of the electronic garbage

Abstract

Reducing the life cycle of electronic products resulting from the accelerated technological change, the lifestyle of contemporary society allied with the strategies of the productive sector, referring to an intensive consumption, causing a series of environmental impacts. The environmental concerns in relation to electronic trash it arises when discarded in the common trash, chemicals substances in electronic components contaminating soil, water, animals and finally go to compromise human health. Then arise, challenges and implications of reconciling the demands of modern life, promoting development with minimal environmental impact. This article deals with the need to reflect on the treatment and final disposal of electronic trash, opposite the new Brazilian National Solid Waste and its provisions.
