Validation of SEBAL algorithm in thermal modeling of basin Vieira river in Northern de Minas Gerais

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the thermal modeling of the river basin of the river Vieira during the winter season of 2010, beyond of the and test validation of the model temperature obtained by the SEBAL. From the statistical point of view we considered the values of the variance, standard deviation and the average values of each set of stations in relation to data obtained by the SEBAL model in order to present the coefficient of variation, in percentage, between the SEBAL model and the data from monitoring stations. The statistical models showed levels of excellence for the data obtained by the SEBAL model for all control stations. Regarding the thermal modeling of river basin Vieira the data showed a temperature difference of about 5.72 º C, and a higher concentration value of the temperature ranges of between 18.15 and 22.38 ° C, revealing an average temperature for the schedule mapped of 18.25 ° C.
