Conflicts of Interest
In the case of a close relationship between people, institutions or places, attention must be increased to avoid a conflict of interest. In the art of evaluating a manuscript, involving authors and proofreaders, Cerrados' editorship prioritizes establishing a policy to avoid involving people in personal relationships, friendships or adversity, as well as people and institutions. This procedure aims to confer reliability to the process of analysis of the submitted material, with a consequent increase in the credibility of the published articles. In this sense, authors and reviewers are requested to contact the Editorial Board of the Journal in cases where the following are apparent: a) links and personal and institutional conflicts (of a family and partisan nature) between reviewers and authors; b) financial support obtained in the development of the work that may influence the reading and impair the reliability of the material produced.
