Revista Cerrados is a publication in continuous flow of the Graduate Program in Geography linked to the Department of Geosciences of the State University of Montes Claros - Unimontes, which seeks to publish scientific papers of interest to geographic science and related areas.

The objective of this journal is to expand the dissemination of the works of professors / researchers from Brazilian and international institutions, originating from thesis, dissertation and institutionalized and / or funded research projects, following ethical principles and scientific rigors.

The editorial team of Revista Cerrados receives, evaluates and publishes - in case of acceptance - articles in four languages ​​(Portuguese, English, French and Spanish). In this journal, the policies for the selection and publication of articles are established by editorial objectives, in line with the recommendations of editorial teams, ethics and good practices in the publication process.
