Abstract

This article was developed during the year of scientific initiation on the discourse of tradition and the structure of schools in three regions known for the traditions of Francisco Beltrão's Italian, Polish and German ethnic communities. The objective of the article is to verify the influence of ethnic groups in the discourse of tradition and in the structure of schools in the rural area related to local inhabitants who, instigated by cultural and geographical reasons, may or may not assume identification with ethnic groups descended from Germans, Italians and Poles. who populated the place. As a methodology, we used bibliographic and documental research. In the results we identified that in the region there is no representation of Polish influence, as well as in relation to German traditions they were not clearly identified by the school, nor in the investigated social networks. Only in the Jacaré Section, there were relations with the tradition of Italian culture. Thus, although the discourse of ethnic tradition is present in several municipal documents, this did not always correspond with the information obtained in the social networks and documents analyzed.
