Abstract

Over the last three decades, Brazil has structured the Child and Adolescent Rights Guarantee System – SGDCA, together with the implementation of public policies aimed at children and adolescents who are victims of or witnesses to acts of violence, with the aim of reducing suffering of the already victimized public and repair their violated rights. However, one of the difficulties faced by the System is the revictimization of children or adolescents through institutional violence. Thus, from the perspective of the macro reception of children and adolescents, this article is dedicated to analyzing the importance of joint and coordinated action between the Justice System and the Promotion and Protection Network in combating the revictimization of children and adolescents.
