Dossier — Creativity in Mathematics Lessons
Within the scope of this dossier, articles will be accepted that clarify the discussion on Creativity in Mathematics, revisiting the topic or deepening knowledge about classroom processes and practices, from Elementary School to Higher Education. Articles must be original and may be theoretical, methodological or empirical in nature.
The theoretical approaches of the articles must include Creativity in Mathematics Lessons, as it is a widely discussed topic that can develop students' curiosity, providing processes of exploration and experimentation based on imagination and originality.
Articles will be accepted in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Regarding the process of evaluation of submitted proposals, although authors can submit as many articles as they wish for consideration by Educação Matemática Debate, each author can only have one article published in the dossier, whether authorship or co-authorship.
Texts must be submitted directly to OJS platform, where the rules for preparing articles and the template are also available.

In Step 1 of the online submission process, you must choose the section Dossier — Creativity in Mathematics Lessons, so that the article can be sent to the guest editor. If there is no such identification, the article will go through the journal's regular evaluation process.
Timeline:
- Submission — until October 30, 2024
- Assessment — until November 30, 2024
- Review by authors - until December 20, 2024
- Layout — until December 20, 2024
- Publication — until February 14, 2025 (retroactive December 2024)
Comments:
- If an approved article is not within the scope of the special issue, publication will be carried out in regular issues;
- Publication will be via the rolling pass system (continuous publication).
