Teaching strategy with the use of artificial intelligence for Differential Calculus in Engineering

The inadequacies in Differential Calculus for engineering that limit the performance of students when solving mathematical problems associated with the technological development of the industrial sector supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) constitute the research problem. The objective was to implement a didactic strategy with the use of AI to improve student performance, with the following phases: Initial diagnosis on the integration of the subject, Projection of the activity with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) focus, and Intervention for the development of STEM skills. The study was in control and experimental groups. The experimental group of students performed better in understanding and using the meanings of mathematical concepts.
