Abstract

This work analyzes the unequal gender relations at the university through subjective
assumptions, that deal with the binomial -aluno teacher, and relations between teachers.
Through eminently literature, if the objective is here to rescue thoughts of authors with
SCOTT (2005) and Dubet(2003), among others, who have studied to understand the
symbolic nature of the inequalities in the education system. From this it will give up
most hang him to gender disparities in university spaces, with emphasis on women. It
works with the hypothesis that even if the university allows certain autônima as well as
ample room for debate, society outside their walls still impose an ideology that secretes
due to biological identities. Therefore as analyzing the relationship between teachers, as
regards their identity as a driver of social change, the discourse loses strength and
assumes a pragmatic character. Finally, it is also considered that gender inequalities in
some cases, it is demonstrated more visible and fought, but in a different light appears

quite almost imperceptibly, a circumstance which alienates, most of the times, more
teachers to the students.
