Abstract

This article is the result of the recent interventions of the Rural Development
Programme and the Reform Agraria - PRODERA; which aimed to analyze social
relations, income, management and entrepreneurship group of women linked to the
project "agribusiness Bakery" in the settlement Paco Paco. The research is part of the
actions that are developed by PRODERA the Institute of Agrarian Sciences / UFMG.
The collective experience located in Pirapora city on the right bank of the Rio São
Francisco. To build the theoretical discussions, some authors have been used to give
theoretical support the propositions found in the field, as Abramovay, 1997; Santos et
al. (2010); Dayrell (2000); Santos (2003); Spix and Martius (1981); Van der Ploeg
(2009), among others. The observation, interview and diary were important to obtain
and analyze the words and looks of these women. It could be observed that rural women

have built outputs to generate income, which has contributed to compose the final
income of the family. Through the work, these women have gained visibility in society
and family.
