RURAL DEVELOPMENT IN BRAZIL AND NORTH OF MINES: SOME CONSIDERATIONS

Abstract

The countryside is a dynamic space and is constantly changing . The forms of social
reproduction and labor, the relation field - city, history, technology inserted in the field
for both large and small producers , influence in shaping that environment and map the
profiles of each region. And before that existing dynamism in the field, Schneider (2010
) says that a paradigm that has excelled in the rural studies in recent decades is rural
development. In this work we address some discussions about rural development in
Brazil and the North of General Mines. Therefore, we use as a methodology , the
literature on the subject studied , which were contextualized some concepts related to
the topic.
