In this book, the authors present a depth psychosocial evaluation of the impact of oil exploitation and its effects on the life of the Amazonian communities of Ecuador throughout the operation of the Texaco Company. The book shows the historical struggle for respect for nature and communities. It brings a model of analysis in the territory with fieldwork, dialogue with each one of the affected and visits into the contamination scenarios. The book also argues the analysis with revision of documentation of the time, with images, surveys and testimonies with a chronological perspective until 2009. Therefore, it is necessary to think that the economic enclave for oil exploitation has consequences throughout the lifetime. I analyzed the book until 2009, but at the time of writing the crisis review, it remains the same magnitude.
