Challenges and learning facing cyberbullying in LGBT children and adolescents in the school environment

Nowadays, through the use of communication and information technologies and aggregated devices, cyberbullying has the potential to extrapolate the time and space obstacles of traditional bullying among LGBT children and adolescents causing serious consequences in the lives of these people. In this sense, the objective of this work is to present the theme of cyberbullying, its repercussions on victims and forms of prevention. This is an exploratory research, which used procedures for collecting bibliographic data in periodic publications of a scientific nature. The results emphasized that measures to combat or minimize cyberbullying will be more efficient if each internet user adopts ethics in the virtual environment. It is essential to point out that cyberbullying should be widely studied, as it is through the problematization of the subject that it will be possible to develop preventive actions and measures to combat the problem, allowing the population to better elucidate the subject and, consequently, higher quality in social relations between children and adolescents.
