Methodological instruments for evaluation: a successful experience in high school in the subject of Biology
Abstract
The education test is an instrument utilized to diagnosticate some results and knowing how to use, can be a good friend and a help to find the success of learning. This research had searched to understand the many directions about the test and the possible changes about this practice for the knowledge´s creation. The present research had purposes how: to walk together with the students in possible evaluative activities, seeing the difficulties or the prospects about this practice for the learning; to observe the feelings from students when they do the test and to identify the evaluative instruments used in that respective classes watched. The methodological way utilized was qualitative, realizing a case study. The research was executed with 85 students, distributes in three classes of first year from high school in IFNMG/Campus of Salina´s city. During 80 hours/biology classes in first school trimester of 2016. For to receive the information was used: questionnaires, observation, field notebook writing the main details seen, and lastly, were selected four episodes that were analyzed. The investigative purpose, in a first moment, would investigate the why that the students feels scared or unmotivated against the test. However, observations in classes, wasn´t witnessed frustration moments in hour test. Was seen a mediator action as a good tool of the biology teacher, who searched a frequent development from students, in yours activities, checking the existing problems and mainly understanding the differences among students with many evaluative instruments, likes exercises, researches, construction of conceptual maps, games, presentations, practice classes, confection of didactic models, debates and experiments. This research showed a hopeful experience to pedagogical practice, all this in relation the test, and can make us think about it, for to understand yours much senses and possible changes for the effectiveness of news practices.
