A mapping of theses and dissertations about the History of Mathematics in Brazil: 1991 to 2008
Abstract
The aim of this article is to present an organization of the scientific production about the theme of History of Mathematics developed in Post-Graduate Programs in Brazil. The data were obtained from abstracts from dissertations and theses elaborated and defended from 1991 to 2008 that were found in the CAPES’ bank. This investigation allowed us to perceive that the predominant category was related to the history of mathematical concepts.
