Discourse, power and teaching practices: purposes of contemporary education in the current context

Abstract

The present work makes a quarrel on the relation between speech and practical pedagogical in the public school, analyzing the action of the educator in the formation of the citizen capable to promote transformations in the way where lives, conscientious of his participation in the fight against the coercitive speeches. The objective is to analyze if pedagogical practical of the professors of public schools in the City of Porto Seguro form participant citizens of the construction and/or social environment transformation or perpetuate the authoritarianism and accommodation. For in such a way, we use the research of field with qualitative boarding, choosing the half-structuralized interview as instrumentof collect of data, through which weverify a concern, on the part of the educators, with the formation of the critical citizen, although the constant challenges in the pertaining to school space.
