This work covers the evaluation in the formative perspective, having as proposal the Teaching by Investigation in the classes of Natural Sciences. The general objective was to discuss the evaluative possibilities present in an activity that is part of a sequenced set of activities. In this way, the text emphasizes the importance of a less classifying, vexatious, reductionist and bureaucratic evaluation and opens up possibilities for an evaluation from the perspective of learning, aiming at the Scientific Literacy of the subjects. The evaluation for learning in Teaching by Investigation enables the integral development of the subjects, without dissociating the conceptual, procedural knowledge, personal relationships and ethical, moral and social characteristics of the subjects.
