DESAFIOS E CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA PARA A INCLUSÃO ESCOLAR

Abstract

Inclusion is necessary in the school, since it provides permanent conditions and possibilities to develop learning, maximizing the student's potential. The Physical Education discipline plays an important role in student development and can be an important tool in the inclusion process. Thus, seeking to understand the potential of this discipline in school inclusion, the objective was to carry out a literature review on the challenges and contributions of Physical Education for school inclusion. The bibliographic search consisted of researching articles published between 2011 and 2021, in the electronic databases Scielo and Portal Periodicals CAPES, using the descriptors Physical Education, inclusion, and inclusive pedagogical practices. The electronic search returned 30 articles that, after analyzing the abstract, 21 were excluded. Therefore, 9 articles were used in this review. It is concluded that the main challenges of School Physical Education is the lack of adequate pedagogical practices, lack of physical spaces and absence of continuing education. Since these challenges can be minimized when the teacher exercises his creativity based on the contents of playful classes; adaptation of rules and use of natural helpers.
