Implicações da pandemia da covid-19 nos hábitos alimentares

Abstract

Objetivo: Sistematizar conhecimentos sobre as implicações da pandemia do COVID-19 nos hábitos alimentares. Método: Este estudo constitui uma revisão integrativa desenvolvida a partir da seleção sistemática da literatura científica voltada para os efeitos da pandemia do COVID-19 na alimentação. A coleta de dados foi realizada no período de 11 de agosto a 19 de setembro de 2020, onde a busca bibliográfica dos artigos se deu nas bases de dados Scielo, PubMed, BVS, Medline e LILACS. Resultados e Discussão: Foram selecionados 31 artigos para leitura e fichamento, por estarem dentro da temática proposta. As restrições provocadas pelo isolamento resultaram em consequências na saúde mental, no estilo de vida e hábitos alimentares, redução no consumo de alimentos in natura e ganho de peso. Em contrapartida, notou-se padrões opostos entre as pesquisas, onde houve uma maior ingestão de vegetais/frutas e menor consumo de junk food, redução no consumo de bebidas alcoólicas e comportamentos alimentares mais saudáveis quando comparados aos hábitos anteriores. Considerações Finais: Neste contexto, vê-se a necessidade de novos estudos que avaliem a qualidade nutricional da alimentação durante e pós pandemia e a inserção de ações e programas intensivos que atuem como forma de promover suporte para uma dieta saudável e variada.
