Perfil Epidemiológico dos Usuários do Serviço de Alergia do Centro Ambulatorial de Especialidades Tancredo Neves

Estabeleceu-se o perfil epidemiológico dos pacientes atendidos no ambulatório de referência em alergia de Montes Claros - MG. Estudo descritivo transversal, que incluiu 200 pacientes atendidos no serviço do Centro Ambulatorial de Especialidades Tancredo Neves (CAETAN) do Hospital Universitário Clemente de Faria, no período de Fevereiro a Dezembro de 2013. A maioria dos pacientes era do sexo feminino, correspondendo a 133 pacientes (66,5%). A idade variou de 0 a 79 anos, com preponderância da faixa etária entre 0 e 9 anos (35%). Foram observadas com maior frequência as queixas de alergia na pele (70,5%) e alergia respiratória (15,5%). A rinite alérgica foi a doença alérgica mais observada no ambulatório, com 45 pacientes (22,8%), destacando-se a utilização de anti-histamínicos de modo geral (38,7%) para controle dos quadros alérgicos. Tendo em vista que a grande maioria das procedências observadas são de Montes Claros, conclui-se que os serviços atendem principalmente a população local.
