The Free Course “Defense of the rights of peasants, traditional communities and land reform” was an initiative of the Human Rights Nucleus of the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST), Northern Regional of Minas Gerais, taking place between August and December 2021 through online and face-to-face activities, including visits and field work. From public calls that circulated on social networks, interested students were selected. In the present experience report, we, students of “Turma Saluzinho”, aim to socialize some of the reflections and debates that we produced during the study of each of the legal cases. The narration of the cases, as can be seen, is polyphonic. The ideas start from the perspective of the students involved. Aware of the impossibility of exhausting the complexity of each of the contexts presented below, we show, on the other hand, that the insertion of such problems in the classroom can fertilize consciences and promote alternatives to the logic of systematic and uncritical reproduction of legal doctrines and dogmatics.
