Território, Sociedade e Desigualdade: Uma Revisão de Literatura

Abstract

This article aims to conduct a literature review on the topic of socio-territorial inequality, focusing on indicators of social inclusion and exclusion that have been addressed through geoprocessing techniques. The methodology employed a hybrid approach, combining bibliometric and systematic perspectives. The bibliometric perspective adopted a quantitative approach, utilizing Bibliometrix metrics through R software, with the search string "socio-territorial inequality and geoprocessing." On the other hand, the systematic approach involved a qualitative and quantitative analysis, including the evaluation of the approach synthesis, data production, collaborative databases, and key indicators used. The bibliometric research resulted in the mapping of 113 articles in Scopus and Web of Science databases, with 74 and 39 publications, respectively, from 1987 to 2022. After removing the duplicates of 10 articles counted in both databases, the final result was 103 publications. From the systematic perspective, it was observed that research predominates in Latin American countries, with notable indicators including education, gender, age, income, mobility, infrastructure, and housing.
